The procedure

Chin augmentation takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

What to expect after surgery

There is typically some swelling after chin augmentation, but downtime is minimal. Pain medication is prescribed to deal with any post-operative discomfort. Most patients are able to resume normal activities within 5-7 days of surgery (learn more).
